He married his long-time girlfriend university lecturer Edna Lim on June 25th, 2010. His eldest brother owns a computer solutions company, his second brother works in a bank in Hong Kong and his younger sister works in a multinational computer company. His father is a retired senior bank officer and his mother is a housewife, they live in a five-room HDB flat in Toa Payoh. He was born on 10 November 1970 in Singapore, he is 47 years old as in 2018. His work includes television dramas, films, and commercials, both locally and internationally. He was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1998 to 2018 but continues to film on an ad-hoc basis. He was a blackbelt exponent in Tae Kwon Do and was the YMCA Tae Kwon Do Open Champion. He later obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Economics and Political Science from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of the National University of Singapore.Īctive in sports and extra-curricular activities, he was deeply involved both as a sportsman and leader, representing his school in basketball, athletics, volleyball, and several other sports. He sang with the school choir, played the dizi in the Chinese orchestra, and was the lead singer and guitarist of the Temasek Hall Band ” Cognitive Dissonance”.
